ABOUT THE IAD

The Internal Audit Directorate is a Branch within the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service. It is responsible for internal audit and audit committee policy and is committed to capacity building for the internal audit function, and audit committees

The IAD currently oversees Ministries, Departments, and, to a limited extent, Executive Agencies within the Central Government. Despite this focused scope, the IAD serves as a central point of reference and coordination for the Government of Jamaica's Internal Audit Community.
